2006 RESULTS

10-1 - Husets Speedway - Cheaters Day - 10th place finish in the big feature, actually a DNF.  My worst race in the last 5 years easily.  Not a good way to end my racing career. 

9-30 - Husets Speedway - Cheaters Day - Won heat easily from 3nd row. 5th place finish in feature.

9-16 - Lake County Speedway - NMRA Nationals -  Rained out!

9-15 - Rapid Speedway -  NMRA Nationals -  Rained out!

9-10 - Husets Speedway - Season Championship - Rain. Cancelled, not postponed but they cancelled Championship Night?  I finished 4th in the final points standings. 

9-04 - Husets Speedway - Labor Day Special - 4th in heat and 2nd in the feature (started 6th).  Another 2nd place finish, I think thats 7 on the year.  Restart with 2 to go and I was in 3rd with a very fast car again. Got into 2nd right away and caught the leader going into 3 on the last lap, but ended up 1/2 car length short at the checkered flags.

9-03 - Husets Speedway - Points night plus Nordstrom's Dash For Cash Pit Stop Race - 5th in the heat race.  3rd in the feature (started 6th). Track was very fast with not much passing.   Nordstrom's race - 12 cars - 3 wide start - I started middle of row 2, came into the pit stop portion in 5th, restarted 7th and got to 3rd with a very strong car, but fell to 5th on the last lap as the driver screwed up.  Great race, lots of fun.

8-27 - Husets Speedway -  4th in the heat and 5th in the feature.  Uneventful.  Need to win again, having a bad streak here lately.

8-20 - Husets Speedway - Won heat race.  10th in the feature.   Had a nice run going in the feature and got flat took out by the 38H car and for reason I got sent to the back and he got his spot back.   I guess the flagman doesn't like me very much!  Oh well, then had a flat tire and ended up 10th. 

8-13 - Husets Speedway - 4th in heat race.  17th in the feature (DNF).  Only made 2 laps in the feature before the RF hub broke (again!) and ended my night early.  Terrible points night for us.  Just hope I can get another feature win this year. 

8-06 - Husets Speedway - 3rd in heat race.   Another 2nd place feature finish.   Been anyway from 1st to 7th in the points at Husets.  3rd right now.

7-30 - Husets Speedway -  8th in heat race (DNF).   Started dead last in the feature and finished 4th.  Track was slicked off and was able to run 3 different grooves.  Car and motor were very good.   Fun race to get to 4th on a track like that. 

7-23 - Husets Speedway - 5th in heat, started 8th.   Started 8th in the feature and finished 6th.   Had a new engine in tonite and it never ran good.  Hopefully can get it running better next week. 

7-16 - Husets Speedway - 6th in heat race, started 8th.   2nd in feature.  Close race with the 00 car, got along side him several times. Another good run for the 6 car.

7-09 - Husets Speedway -  3rd in heat race.  1st in feature!  Finally this year after so many good runs.  Started 5th in the feature and battled into first and then had to hold off a couple fast cars at the end.

7-04 - Husets Speedway -  4th of July special.  2nd in heat race and 7th in feature.  Had gotten the lead in the feature and then the 2nd place car got into me a couple of times and then he got sideways and looped it around.  I got sent to the rear and fought back to a 7th place finish.   Bad call by the flagman in my opinion.

7-03 - Husets Speedway -  World of Outlaws night.  2nd in heat race. 13th in feature (DNF), was up to 4th place in feature when the RF hub broke and came apart and the RF wheel left the car.   Was a great run while it lasted.

7-02 - Husets Speedway - 6th in heat race. 2nd in feature! Great race with the #22 car, almost won it.

6-25 - Husets Speedway -  2nd in the heat race and finished a strong 4th place in the feature after starting in the 9th position.  Very fast car once again. 

6-18 - Husets Speedway -  Started last in the heat race and won it easily.  Finally got a good draw for the feature and started on the pole with the11K car right beside me.   Led the first 12 laps and finished a very strong 2nd place.  Car was very tight and I missed the setup.  Back up to 3rd in the points standings.  

6-11 - Husets Speedway -   2nd in heat and 5th in the feature.  Started 10th in the feature.  

6-04 - Husets Speedway -  Won heat race by a large margin.  Finished 9th in the feature after one cut tire and a broken RR shock mount.

5-29 - Husets Speedway -  The motor problem kept from attending tonites races, however Anthony Mann ran the #6 number and got me some points. THANKS Anthony and #20 crew!

5-28 - Husets Speedway - Had the point lead going into tonites races.  5th to 2nd in the heat race.  Finished started 9th and was very fast once again, got to 4th in a hurry and then motor issues crept up and ended up pulling in with 2 laps to go.  13th place credited. 

5-21 - Husets Speedway - 4th in heat race.  Started 10th in the feature and finished a very strong 4th place.   Passed alot of cars as several cautions put cars back in front of me again.  Very, very fast car tonite. 

5-19 - Rapid Speedway - 4th in heat race.  Started 8th in feature and finished 5th.  Track was very poor, one groove only. Good race for us.

5-14 - Husets Speedway - RAINED OUT

5-07 - Husets Speedway - Season Opener with the World of Outlaws - Great night of racing. Won the heat race by a large margin and started 6th in the feature and quickly raced into 2nd place and set my sights on the leader, caught him after 4 or 5 laps and we raced hard to the finish, I ended up about a foot or two short of winning.  2nd place finish

5-05 - Rapid Speedway - Season Opener - 3rd in heat  and 8th in the feature.   Didn't feel well and should have stayed home.
